Village Tavern: 2009-01-31

Great food, friendly service, bar, TV's, sports memorabilia, cozy wood and brick ambience, salt water aquarium. Located inside Kings Creek Plaza in Kendall. Ana ate chicken churrasco with mashed potatoes and veggies while I devoured a grilled salmon with veggies and Village Tavern's own cole slaw. No smoking indoors but there is smoking outdoors. Strip mall assures ample well lit parking.

We entered and turned left to see the band Fire Brigade. On the upper right, lit doors connect Village Tavern to Village Market & Deli.

Turned further right. Now facing straight ahead, entrance at my back. From this angle, the band's P.A. speaker cabinet blocks a full view of the bar.
 

Again turned right. The green lit glass door and windows lead to a patio.

Returned inside to the rear of Village Tavern. What looks like a wide-screen TV monitor is a salt water aquarium recessed into a wall.
