Titanic Brewery and Restaurant: 2008-05-24
Efficient and friendly staff, great ambience, great food, "award winning, fresh hand-crafted beers," band stage with lights, free wireless internet. Update 2009-05-13: Had dinner at Titanic at 9:45 pm on this Wednesday night (May 13th, 2009). Smelled cigarette smoke but saw no one smoking. The smell grew stronger with time. After dinner, I approached the bar and saw bar patrons smoking and ashtrays on tables. Too bad—bar and dining areas are interconnected and seemingly share one ventilation system.
Titanic's parking lot is well-lit and easily accessible.
I photographed this from the main entrance. The object at the lower right belongs to the band -- it's a drum case. To the left is the band stage. If you step forward and turn right, you'll be at the dining area.
Albert Castiglia and his blues band. The stage's steps are a nice touch and so is the metal railing. Stage lights hang from the ceiling.
This view of the bar is just past the stage.
View from the bar to the entrance and stage.
Mid view of the bar. Those metal containers behind glass may be for Titanic-brewed beer.
Far end of the bar.
Dining room. After walking through Titanic's main entrance, it's to the right. Behind me (see below) is likely a beer brewing equipment display.
Located in the dining room, this seems to be a working display of beer brewing equipment.
I shot this from the far end of the dining room.
Band schedules are placed on all tables.
