Rumors Bistro and Bar: 2007-11-23

The new Rumors Bistro and Bar is located in Cutler Bay, where O.C.'s Raw Bar and Grill used to be. Friendly and efficient staff, woodsy upscale ambience with leather couches, pool table, TV's, dance floor, roomy stage with professional lighting, projection screen. Location on a strip mall (Old Cutler Towne Center) assures ample, well-lit parking. No smoking. From the late night menu, Ana and I chose Chicken Tenders with barbeque sauce. They were just right without being greasy. Even the fries, which give many places trouble, were great. Rumors has only been open a week and hasn't had a major launch event, so there's much to look forward to as they ramp up. Already there are live bands on Fridays and Saturdays, and Wednesday is Ladies Night with Karaoke. There are plans for a website as well as a Jazz Night and a Line Dancing Night.

At the left, see on the wood counter what seems to be some type of computer monitor or device? It plays video games. Very cool and it wasn't the only one at Rumor's.
