The Joint Bar & Grill: 2011-02-04
The Joint Bar & Grill sits where Carrington's Sports Bar & Grill once sat, and before Carrington's it was Jay Love's Hooligan's Pub & Oyster Bar (a.k.a. Big Hoolie's). The area with pool tables is gone but The Joint still occupies a large space. Live music (from Classic Rock to Afro-Cuban Funk) and DJ's on Fridays and Saturdays, bar, food, band stage, high definition 15 foot projection screen, free wireless internet, and more. No smoking. Location at Dadeland Plaza provides ample well lit parking. We each had a Margherita Pizza which was tasty and had a scrumptious sauce. For dessert, Ana enjoyed a yummy Guava and Cream Cheese Pizza while I had a delicious Oreo Key Lime Pie. Ana said, “ . . . we went for the music but the food itself was enough enticement . . . and it was topped with great service . . . ”
At entrance, pointing right.
Turned left.
Turned further left.
Another angle.
The band, “Wide Open” with their new lineup.
Plenty of well-lit parking includes parking on the roof. The Joint Bar & Grill
