Brickell Irish Pub: 2010-7-17
To improve our chances of finding good seats, we arrived early at Brickell Irish Pub. Woodsy ambience, good food, fine service, bar, pool table, TVs. Large stage, pro sound system with subwoofers below the stage floor. Remote controlled LED stage lighting. No smoking indoors. Takes major credit cards. Open Monday through Sunday, 11:00 am - 3:00 am. Late Night menu after 12 am. Ana said, “ . . . fits its name so perfectly . . . dark walls, high ceiling, seating outside and inside . . . great menu with an obvious Irish twist . . . Hugo had the grilled salmon which he said was excellent and I had a delicious grilled chicken sandwich with avocado . . . we shared a Decadent Chocolate Cake with ice cream—a must for chocoholics . . . service was courteous and efficient . . . you can return again and again while knowing you’ll have a great time . . . it gets packed . . . clearly evident that Brickell Irish Pub is designed for music . . . large stage equipped with remote controlled lighting and sound . . . ”
Approaching the entrance.
Walking in, the stage was to our left. Hard Liquor Band was playing.
Turned right. Bar was at the far wall.
Turned further right.
Turned right again. The entrance was behind me.
For a different perspective, I went to the back.
Turned left. Note the dark wood panels and large mirrors on the walls.
Again turned to the right. Note the EXIT sign (above what is also the entrance) and left portion of the stage at the far right.
Facing the stage.
Turned right again. Stage on left, bar on right.
More of the bar.
Two JBL VRX900 Series speaker arrays were flown above the stage. Subwoofers were located below the stage floor.
Sound and lighting for the band stage were controlled from a booth on the second level .
There was well-lit street parking as well as valet service and parking lot.
