Mosquitoheads: 2009-2-28 at Black Point
Mosquitoheads swarmed into Black Point Ocean Grill with highly infectious rock 'n' roll from the 60's through today. Ana said, “ . . . this is one of the best sounds we've heard—very versatile with a huge range . . . just really good . . . quality vocals and every instrument excelled . . . each transition from song to song was a pleasure to listen to . . . ” Go to their website at http://www.mosquitoheads.com for their gig schedule, play list and more. Above, from left to right, we see Doug Martin on drums, Dan Oelker on bass and vocals, Tim Gray on lead vocals, saxophone and keyboard, and Ron Derrick on lead guitar and vocals.
The must-be-heard Tim Gray was awesome on lead vocals.
As if his amazing vocals weren't enough, Tim also plays sax and keyboards.
Guitarist Ron Derrick played tight, stinging leads and excelled at tone and rhythm.
The outstanding Dan Oelker on bass and vocals.
Doug Martin is a musical, grooving drummer.

Ana adds, “Great vocals. Clean crisp sound. There is something special . . . these guys know what they are doing and they do it well . . . ”
