Limerock: 2007-11-17 at Black Point Ocean Grill

As soon as Limerock's set began, dancers began to flock to the floor. I shot this with the camera held high above my head.

We found Black Point Ocean Grill so packed that instead of taking photos right away, we ordered drinks and waited for the next set. Limerock is about having a great time with great music and high decibels. Judging by the turnout, others agree. Above, from left to right, we see Dave a.k.a. "The Fishin' Musician" on keyboards and lead vocals, Louie a.k.a. "Blue Lou Solo" on percussion and backup vocals, Joel a.k.a. "Sparky" on guitar and backup vocals, and Henri a.k.a. "The Boog" on bass guitar and lead vocals. I regret not photographing Steve a.k.a. “Bubba” (stage setup and backup lead vocals). Steve was singing lead when we arrived and we assumed that he would sing again in the next set or two... Ana and I enjoyed our Limerock experience and look forward to next time. The band's website is at http://www.limerockband.com.

Keyboardist Dave aka 'The Fishin' Musician' sings lead vocals with style.

Keyboardist Dave a.k.a. “The Fishin' Musician” also sang lead with great style.

Drummer Louie aka 'Blue Lou Solo' never stops smiling and having a good time.

Drummer Louie a.k.a. “Blue Lou Solo” never stopped smiling but didn't let that disrupt a groove.

Joel aka 'Sparky' tunes his guitar then returns to great playing.

Joel a.k.a. “Sparky” is a fine guitarist who also kept smiling, even after a broken string.

Bassist Henri aka 'The Boog' did a super job singing lead vocals.

Bassist Henri a.k.a. “The Boog” did a super job with lead vocals as well as bass.

I loved the lighting and Limerock logo on the kick drum.

Cool Limerock logo on the kick drum.
